Lab Hardware Engineer

About the job:

 

Wearable Devices is developing a novel wrist-worn bio-potential
sensing system.
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated HW\FW engineer with a maker’s attitude to lead our system and electrical validation and debug. As our lab engineer you will be using advanced multi-disciplinary techniques and learn automated and manual testing methodologies. 
You must love the lab more than the coffee corner (-: 

​

you will be responsible for:

​

  • Validate and debug electrical and firmware design

  • Bring-up manufactured products

  • Build prototypes and setups 

  • Write basic code on nrf and Arduino environment

​

Requirements:

​

  • Significant electronic lab experience – must

  • Knowledge in electronic test equipment and debug methodologies – must

  • Understanding of the fundamentals of electric circuits

  • Capable of independently reading and understanding a datasheet

  • FW experience – you must have experience with writing a basic driver for a microcontroller

  • Familiarity with GPIO, I2C, SPI etc.

  • Familiarity with C\C++

Junior Firmware Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated Junior Firmware Developer
with problem solving skills and quick learning capabilities.

You will be responsible for the following:

​

  • Taking ownership over our current FW for communication with
    a wide range of IoT devices

  • Improving the core SDKs and design to a state-of-the-art
    implementation

  • Making quick adaptations for specific customers

 

Requirements:

​

  • Knowledgeable in C\C++ low level programming–  must

  • Experience with embedded projects –  must

  • Familiarity with ARM Cortex M CPUs – significant advantage

  • Experience with programming Bluetooth\BLE – significant
    advantage

Software Developer

We are looking for a talented, creative and versatile developer to
join our software team.
You will be responsible for developing APIs and applications for a
cutting-edge wearable HW system.

​

You will:

​

  • Design and integrate cross platform SDKs into different
    devices, such as VR\AR glasses, watches etc. 

  • Develop testing methodologies for SW-HW integration
    testing

  • Review and maintain both existing code base and new
    SDKs

​

Requirements:

​

  • Versatility - you will need to understand\learn multiple
    languages (Java, Swift etc.)  

  • In-depth knowledge of C++ 

  • iOS\Android experience including example apps –
    Significant advantage

QA software for mobile

We are looking for a QA engineer/analyst to develop and execute
manual and automated tests to ensure product quality in a fast-
paced environment. The QA Engineer plays an important part in our
company’s product development life cycle.
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before
product launch to ensure the software runs smoothly and meets the
client's needs. You will monitor all stages of software development
to identify and resolve product malfunctions to meet quality
standards.
If you enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software and
hardware quality problems, we’d like to meet you.

Job Responsibilities:

​

  • Support application mobile testing, automate end-to-
    end, regression, and performance testing of mobile
    applications

  • Coordinate with application teams to determine their
    individual testing requirements

  • Actively search for and perform manual testing

  • Develop automation scripts

  • Participate in day-to-day discussions with Mobile
    Development, Management, and Project/Program
    teams to drive product improvements

Technical Skills:

​

  • Experience testing scalable Mobile applications (iOS
    and/or Android)

  • The ability to debug mobile client and server
    interactions

  • Ability to work with distributed teams in a collaborative
    and productive manner

  • Hands-on experience in UI Mobile automation desired

  • Prior experience with Mobile platforms SDKs, iOS
    and/or Android - advantage

  • Basic understanding of REST APIs - advantage

  • Experience with Swift Programming language or Java
    Programming language - advantage
