Where human dexterity becomes data.
The Kavana lab is where we capture how skilled hands really work: every joint angle, every contact, every Newton of force, together with the neuromuscular signals that drive them.
with the combination of sensors each task calls for: motion capture, Mudra™ EMG, egocentric video, force sensing, tactile gloves and additional sensors.
EMG sensing beyond vision.
Kavana fuses its EMG wristband with any egocentric camera array. No gloves, no line-of-sight, no extra rigs.
Pose estimation
Fusing the wristband with egocentric cameras cuts hand-pose error about 2x, from 9.0° to 4.2° MAE.
Through occlusion
EMG and IMU keep tracking the hand when tools, objects or the frame edge block the camera.
Grip force
Surface EMG tracks muscle effort, so trained models estimate grip force in Newtons, straight from the wrist.

WHO WE ARE
Built on 12+ years of EMG R&D.
Kavana is a unit of Wearable Devices Ltd. (Nasdaq: WLDS), the team behind the Mudra neural-interface wristband.
13 patents and four generations of consumer-proven hardware, now applied to physical-AI data collection and model training.
